The Mix at Arbor place is an organization specializing in the future of Lancaster's children. We provide an outlet for at-risk children, giving them a place to go afterschool five days a week. Our programs place a strong emphasis on education and creativity and include activities such as dance lessons, poetry sessions, and athletics.
One of our longest standing and perhaps most important programs is What's For Dinner, which provides children with snacks and dinners throughout the school year. Fostering good dietary habits is critical to ensuring a positive school experience, and to that end, we served over 10,000 meals in 2015 alone. Volunteers are always welcome to help prepare and serve meals for this program.
In addition to our after school programs, we also feature a number of summer activities to engage youth while they are away from school. These summer camps are low cost and diverse, helping children learn about different cultures and technologies while still having fun.
We always appreciate donations. Your contributions help empower children to reach their full potential.
