Who are we?
The City of Lancaster Museum and Gallery Guide is a collection of Museums and Fine Art Galleries located in our walkable downtown featuring nationally and locally celebrated art, monthly exhibits, and special events.

Join us for ‘Mixta’—our mixed media exhibition. Featuring work across multiple media, each piece tells a beautifully cohesive story. Solo exhibition artist Carrie Kingsbury uses vibrant color, texture, and emotion in ‘Refugee and Familiar Faces.’

Christiane has painted a beautiful array of fresh flowers and birds that she will be sharing this First Friday. The Gallery Trio will provide music and light refreshments will be available.

FRIENDSHIP HEART GALLERY, 118 North Water Street
Friendship Heart Gallery partners with BUZZ, Downtown Lancaster’s takeout coffee and sandwich shop, for the Gallery’s August Exhibit ‘Buzzworthy: Honey Bees and Garden Scenes.’ This partnership celebrates the collaboration of our Downtown business and arts communities. The exhibit features works of buzzing bees and flowers in full bloom by the Heart Artists of Friendship Heart Gallery. Free hors d’oeuvres will be provided by BUZZ during First Friday’s Festivities from 6-8:30PM.

‘The Roaring Twenties’ is Liz’s latest collection of original works featuring the romance, jazz, dance, and overly large cars from the era of excess. The ever-present red umbrella juxtaposes against the mostly black and white color palette of these original paintings highlighting a classic period.
