At the start of each Change Through Compassion Seminar, I hear again and again the discomfort with developing a practice in self-compassion. Over the course of the 8 weeks, I see a shift towards participants understanding personally what the research shows us…which is that self-compassion boosts happiness, reduces anxiety and depression, and can even help maintain healthy lifestyle habits such as diet and exercise. It also supports us in being more responsible and effective in our relationships.

Please join us on Wednesday March 1, from 6:30pm to 7:30pm for a free information session on the Change Through Compassion Seminar Series. Based on the Mindful Self-Compassion program, developed by Kristin Neff, PhD and Christopher Germer, PhD, the Change Through Compassion Workshop and Introductory Sessions are wonderful ways to develop the practices of mindfulness and self-compassion with the support of community.
