Last night I had the pleasure of attending the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting at the Gallery of Modern Masters. It was a gray and dreary day, but the gallery was full of warmth and energy. As I walked through the gallery for the first time, I stopped to look at the beautiful artwork that fills the space. One of the artists in attendance, Licha Nicholson, enthusiastically told me about her work when I stopped to admire her pieces.
At 5:30pm a crowd gathered outside of the building for a short presentation and Mayor Gray cut the ribbon, officially opening the Gallery.
