    One of our favorite community events is on Friday, November 2. Explore the food, arts, and special events in Lancaster City.

    Special Events

     

    Lancaster Press Building-Rooftop Terrace reveal party
    Experience the beautiful Lancaster City views from the new rooftop terrace and tour an array of finished condominiums at the Press Building!

     

    Upohar restaurant opening
    Upohar Ethnic Cuisine is opening their brick-and-mortar location at 798 New Holland Ave! Tonight is the opening night. Don’t miss the celebration. Dinner is from 5-8pm, and BYOB.

     

    Meet the Maker – Lush Bazaar
    Timberl, owner and designer of Lush Bazaar, will be at Nicole Taylor Boutique on First Friday from 5-8pm.

     

    Night for Africa Lancaster
    Africa is coming to Tellus360! Light the Future Choir from Kenya will dance and sing at this special event. Come eat homemade Kenyan food, shop at the Out of Africa pop-up store, win fabulous raffle prizes and hear inspiring “Stories of Life.” Don’t miss it.

    Red Raven Art Company

    From 5 – 8:30pm
    Red Raven Art Company features a group of artists each month specializing in a range of media. This month the gallery features Rhoda Kahler and Georganna Lenssen with highlight artist Teresa Haag.

     

    The Gallery of Modern Masters
    28 Penn Square
    From 6 – 9pm
    Don’t miss the world-renowned glass sculptor Christopher Ries who will be at the gallery to discuss his incredible technique.

     

    Christiane David Gallery
    112 North Prince Street
    5 – 9pm
    The vibrant watercolors cover this gallery. And don’t miss the gift shop, just in time for the holidays.

    Food Trucks

    There will be all sorts of food trucks throughout the city during First Friday so don’t miss them! Don’t miss Reunion Food Truck—this food truck has pork, brisket, chicken, and more delicious BBQ options. This Friday they will be located on the corner of Prince and Walnut at David Lyall.

     

     

    Restaurants

    If you want to check out the great restaurants in town, explore our guide—full of options like fresh sushi, crepes, wraps, burritos, burgers, full dinners, salads, appetizers, and more. Make a night of it this Friday and tour the flavors Lancaster has to offer.
