The team at Tabor provided 6 reasons why you can’t miss the upcoming 50th Annual Banquet!

1 – Learn about Tabor: What does it do?

Brian Roche of WGAL 8 will emcee the evening as we honor the achievements of the Tabor clients and contributions of our staff and partners. In just the past 20 years, Tabor has provided financial and housing counseling to more than 65,000 Lancaster County Individuals through our programs and services. This number includes 9,800 children who were members of families receiving help; over 9,000 households who received mortgage foreclosure prevention counseling; 21,600 individuals who received homeless and rental counseling. In the past 22 years over $49,500,000 has been paid back to creditors on behalf of Tabor credit counseling clients. Tabor has, and continues to make, a very big difference in this community and works to make it a better place for everyone.

2 – Meet Great People!

Over 500 Tabor supporters and clients will be attending this 50th Anniversary Banquet Celebration. From 6:00PM to 6:30PM, meet and mingle with the crowd. You might see people you know or would like to get to know! It will be a great opportunity to meet and network with people who also want to make a positive difference in Lancaster County.

3 – Wonderful Sights and Delicious Food

Drive through the beautiful Lancaster County area to get to the renowned Shady Maple Smorgasbord and enjoy great Lancaster food. Shady Maple is famous for its delicious offering of classic PA Dutch favorites, desserts, made-to-order specials, and more. At Tabor’s banquet, you can always go back for more and try everything you’d like.

4 – Silent Auction

Bid on over 100 items from restaurant gift certificates to hand made pottery, jewelry and original art work. Tabor is so fortunate to have generous businesses willing to share items to be used for the Silent Auction! This as an event you don’t want to miss.

5 – Receive Swag Bag

Receive Tabor’s Swag Bag. The Market Bag will have items that are useful and co-marketed with supporters and partners including The S. Dale High Family Foundation, B.R.
