What’s An Agamograph? Optical Illusion Art: Grades 7-9 at PCA&D

June 23 @ 1:30 pm 4:00 pm

Young artists in grades 7-9 looking to push their creativity and explore the relationship between art, science, and interaction – this the class for you! In this PCA&D workshop, we will explore perspective illusions by creating an agamograph; a type of illusion that changes its image based on where the viewer is standing. Artists will create two versions of their work to help build their very own illusion, and as we assemble each agamograph we will see experiment with how to view the piece and how to effectively communicate ideas to an audience. This is a studio based class with some guidance and lot’s of creative freedom. Expect to have individual work time and one-on-one guidance!
