Five Ways to ‘Fall’ into Shape

It can be hard to fit in workouts with all the busyness that fall starts to bring. We caught up with the owner of the #1 Gym in Central PA and Personal Trainer of the Year, Wayne Mutata, on his favorite ways to stay fit through it all.

“It’s not just exercise, you focus on the person. You’re not just losing weight, you want to be better, exercise helps.” - Wayne Mutata

    1. Stay motivated

Know that your body is not a seasonal process, but a yearly one. Keeping motivated throughout the year will help you along your fitness journey. Wayne stays motivated through his clients—his people are what keep him going for a better, healthier body. Finding your own motivation will help you push through all year long!

    2. Make a playlist

Nothing gets the blood pumping better than a rocking song. For Wayne, it’s “I’ve Got a Feeling” by The Black Eyed Peas. For you, it’s about finding the song that really gets you going. That one tune you can listen to all year long. Curate a playlist around your jam and watch the workouts fly by!

    3. Make the time

Your schedule can get busy at the beginning of fall; between vacations, work, and school starting back up it can be harder to fit in a full workout. Getting back into a routine after a hectic summer can be made easier by breaking up your workouts into smaller, more manageable chunks. This will make it easier to fit your exercise into an ever-changing schedule.

    4. Take it on the go

iTrain makes it easy to get your work out in anywhere with their On The Go Bag! The bag comes with everything you need for a full-body workout. The bag comes with thick medium bands, plates, myofascial release ball, mini band, jump rope, and an instructional video for each! Being able to get a workout in whether you’re at the park or in your living room will make it easier for you to stay in shape all autumn long.

    5. Visit a gym for personalized training

A personal trainer is one of the best ways to keep accountable. Gyms like iTrain provide curated fitness sessions just for you, along with nutritional tracking so that you can focus on the thing that matters most—you. Personal trainers aren’t pushing you to be better than the person next to you, they’re pushing you to be the best version of you!
