A Downtown Lancaster gem returns with a brand new look! With the stunning addition of 101 North Queen and in hopes to celebrate our city’s lively community, Alan and Ricki Friedland, owners of Ream Jewelers, felt now was the right time for something new. After a facade facelift, they are back on the block with a bright new look complete with a new golden awning, logo, and lighting.
Established in 1935, Ream Jewelers is no stranger to the adjustments a business must make as a city like ours flourishes with new neighbors, businesses, and opportunities. Serving Lancaster for eight and a half decades is simply incredible and something Ream Jewelers is extremely proud to be able to accomplish and boast about. They first opened up shop on 5 West King Street, and eventually moved to their Queen Street location in 1972. While they’ve been offered other retail spaces outside of the city, they couldn’t imagine leaving our vibrant city life. Besides Queen Street wouldn’t be complete without Ream’s whimsical seasonal window displays!
While they’ve decided to ring in the 85th year with a new look, you’ll be happy to know that their wonderful team, quality gems, jewelry, and impeccable customer service remain true to their mission—as it was intended from day one. They also have something for everybody, and they feel confident in finding something to fit every client’s unique style and budget!
Bringing quality jewelry and gems to Lancaster and its surrounding areas is something that Ream Jewelers prides itself on. Alan also has extensive knowledge of gems and jewelry and is a member of the prestigious American Gem Society! As a member, a jeweler must meet and maintain the strictest ethical and professional standards, as well as pass extensive courses in gemology—definitely not the easiest task! This is all done in order to provide the most quality products possible for all of their clients.
Whether you’re on the hunt for that perfect engagement ring, planning to surprise a loved one with a unique anniversary gift, or just in search of the right piece to complement any outfit, Ream Jewelers quality selections promise to fit your every need. Come on in next time you’re walking down Queen Street, and don’t forget to look up and check out their new facade before you walk in their door!
