Lancaster County’s biggest day of giving is back on November 18! Since 2012, over 40,000 people have given to the ExtraGive, raising $82 million in funds for the Lancaster community.
ExtraGive is a day for all of us. It is a reflection of our collective compassion and a glimpse into a future we can build together. It’s a celebration of everything that makes Lancaster County special and a commitment to the generations to come. That’s why this year, ExtraGive’s focus is on you, the donors. Whether you can give $10 or $10,000, your gift will be stretched for the causes you care about. Through the ExtraGive, this community has proven time and again that when we come together, we can do extraordinary things.
ExtraGive is a day to support the causes you care about.
How it works:
- On November 18, visit ExtraGive.org from any digital device.
- Visit the pages of more than 400 participating organizations to learn how their work impacts Lancaster County.
- Make an online donation to organizations that are important to you (at a minimum of $10) and every dollar donated will be stretched.
- Each organization will receive a percentage of the half million dollar Stretch Pool. Stretch Pool dollars will be distributed based on the number of unique donors to each organization. This means that if an organization’s unique donor count is 3% of all unique donors across the organizations participating in the ExtraGive, then that organization will receive 3% of the Stretch Pool. Every donation, no matter its size, has the power to impact the causes you care about in a big way!

Help organizations win the #IGiveExtra Prize
Enter your favorite organizations to win a $500 prize! Simply post a photo or video on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter, use #IGiveExtra or #ExtraGive and mention the organization you support to enter. Ten organizations will be randomly chosen to win $500.
Be a Fundraising Champion for your favorite organization
The ExtraGive’s online platform, ExtraGive.org, presents a great opportunity for individuals to support their favorite organizations in new and creative ways! Becoming a Fundraising Champion allows you to mobilize your friends, families, coworkers, and more to help you support causes you care about.
By signing up as a Fundraising Champion on an organization’s page, you can create your own custom profile that tells your story, set your own fundraising goal, and create your own link to share with your friends and family so they can join the celebration on November 18. Not only do Fundraising Champions help organizations raise an average of 2.5 times more funds, but each new donor you reach increases an organization’s portion of the Stretch Pool. Becoming a Fundraising Chamption is easy—simply click the “fundraise” button on a participating organization’s profile and join their team.
Thirsty? Time to Pony UP!
The ExtraGive is thrilled to partner again with Springhouse Brewing Company on a very special ExtraGive beer. Introducing Pony UP!, a hazy IPA brewed with Eukuanot, El Dorado, and Enigma hops. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the ExtraGive Stretch Pool. You can find Pony Up! on tap at local establishments, for sale at bottle shops, and featured at select ExtraGive events.
