Introducing our 2024 Social Mission Partner: SoWe
SoWe is a resident-driven initiative of Tenfold in Southwest Lancaster City. They engage the diverse voices of our community to strengthen the economic and social well-being of the neighborhood.

At Fig, we believe in the power of a community that works together to identify needs and find solutions—one that creates connections and is passionate about helping its neighbors. Each year, Fig partners with a nonprofit organization working to transform our community, and we are grateful and honored to partner with SoWe in 2024.
SoWe is a resident-driven initiative of Tenfold in Southwest Lancaster City. They engage the diverse voices of our community to strengthen the economic and social well-being of the neighborhood.
To do this, their team works within five priority areas:
- Connecting neighbors
- Creating and maintaining safe, quality housing for low-income residents
- Supporting local businesses & promoting commercial activity
- Improving our streets and parks
- Increasing neighborhood safety

In 2024, SoWe is focusing on specific goals that align with their mission and priority areas:
- Attracting new businesses to fill several empty storefronts in the neighborhood
- Installing two new murals
- Developing two new affordable housing units
- Providing welcome baskets to new refugee families who move into the neighborhood
- Recruiting resident leaders for our block liaison program
How Can You Get Involved?
- Sign up for their newsletter
- Follow SoWe on social media
- Come to a monthly neighborhood meal (April–October)
- Organize a street cleanup
- Attend (or volunteer at) a SoWe event
- Join a committee focused on one of their priority areas
- Become a block liaison
- Donate to SoWe
