Your Shop Local Guide To Lemon Street Market

Our guide to shop local at Lemon Street Market.

Lemon Street Market is a full-service grocery store focused on sustainable and healthy living, with many local, organic, vegan, and gluten-free options. By shopping at Lemon Street Market, customers directly support more than 125 local and regional farmers and vendors.

For each dollar spent at a local, family-owned business, 80% goes back into the local economy. For every dollar spent at large, corporate-owned stores, only 20% makes it back into the local economy. By carefully curating store offerings to cultivate food, health, and community, Lemon Street Market builds authentic, sustainable relationships with producers based in Lancaster and the surrounding region.

What’s New:

Stop by and check out the new store layout complete with bulk spices and olive oil, more fridge and freezer space, an additional selection of healthy takeout items from the kitchen (including local, organic, and chemical-free options), and environmentally friendly equipment and LED lighting. The kitchen is open 7 days a week, serving coffee, tea, espresso, fresh juices, smoothies, and takeout items.

#GiveLocal

In 2017, Lemon Street Market launched the first #GiveLocal campaign, partnering with community organizations to invite shoppers to “round up” at the register. In the first year, customers donated over $3,000 to organizations like The Boys & Girls Club of Lancaster, Clare House, and Power Packs Project. 2018 #GiveLocal partner organizations include Pregnancy and Postpartum Mental Health of Lancaster County (PPMHLC), The Mix at Arbor Place, The Common Wheel, Meals on Wheels Lancaster County, Lancaster Farm Sanctuary, and Lancaster Farmland Trust.
