A fresh from the farm feature on Lancaster County produce

In partnership with Discover Lancaster, we are highlighting three farms in Lancaster County where you can buy produce from at Lancaster Central Market.

Rolling hills, friendly neighbors, and fresh food. These are a few of the markers of Lancaster County that have shaped the community for centuries.

And as the community has welcomed new growth and innovation over the years, Lancaster has held onto the roots of these simple pleasures.

In this special feature from Fig and Discover Lancaster, we are highlighting three Lancaster farms whose delectable fruit and crisp vegetables you’ll find growing across the sprawling farmlands of the county and stocked in stands at Lancaster Central Market in the heart of Lancaster City.

Whether you’re a new resident, a lifelong Lancastrian, or a visitor stopping through, we invite you to fill your market totes on a trip to the city and take an adventure to see some of the historic farms whose legacy have shaped who we are today.
