What is the RRFF?
The Red Rose Film Festival (RRFF) is a three-day film festival in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The event unites filmmakers and the Lancaster community, celebrating the captivating stories that film brings to life. Attendees can look forward to an exciting lineup of short films, documentaries, and feature-length presentations, along with engaging panel discussions.
This year, the festival will feature programming and events that amplify global perspectives for local impact. Through a curated selection of film screenings, it will help to spark critical conversations by sharing stories of individuals and communities that might otherwise go unheard. The dedicated team—comprised of programmers, filmmakers, partners, volunteers, and supporters—brings together a wealth of diverse experiences, enhancing the impact within the community and beyond.
The Mission Behind the RRFF
The Red Rose Film Festival is committed to fostering the growth and enrichment of the film and small business community in Central Pennsylvania.
Community is at the heart of their mission. The voices of filmmakers create a bridge across economic, gender, and cultural divides, embodying this year’s motto: “Global Perspectives, Local Impact.” Guided by these values, the RRFF remains committed to honoring and representing the Central Pennsylvania community.
By promoting independent films and supporting local economic development, the RRFF aims to enhance Lancaster’s tourism, industry education, and job creation. They also strive to provide greater incentives for filmmakers to share their unique global perspectives with our community.

Explore the Screening Venues
This year’s festival will feature screenings hosted at both Zoetropolis Cinema and Stillhouse in Lancaster City and Penn Cinema in Lititz.
Zoetropolis Cinema and Stillhouse is located at 112 North Water Street in Lancaster City.
Penn Cinema is located at 541 Airport Road in Lititz.

Get Your Tickets
Secure your tickets to the Red Rose Film Festival! For both screening venues, tickets will cost $5 per film block. Tickets are also available to attend the Awards Ceremony at Penn Cinema on Saturday, November 9.
