A Ruby Anniversary | You’re Invited to Schreiber’s 40th Annual Gala

Hosted at Imperial Ballroom at Holiday Inn Lancaster, the gala will be held Saturday, March 9, and help support uncompensated care for the nearly 4,000 children served by Schreiber Center for Pediatric Development.

2024 marks a monumental year for the Annual Schreiber Gala as they celebrate their 40th anniversary. For four decades, guests have dined and danced the night away in support of the uncompensated care nearly 4,000 children receive from Schreiber Center for Pediatric Development each year.

As one of Schreiber’s crucial fundraising events, the gala showcases the life-changing work that Schreiber provides to infants, children, and adolescents with disabilities, developmental delays, and acquired injuries.

In honor of their Ruby Anniversary, Schreiber’s 40th Annual Gala will be held on Saturday, March 9, in The Imperial Ballroom at the Holiday Inn Lancaster, where guests will gather to enjoy live and silent auctions, meet Schreiber’s 2024 Ambassadors, and discover more about the impact Schreiber has on children and families in Central Pennsylvania and beyond.

Along with a delicious three-course meal and dancing with music by Josh Squared Band, Schreiber will also raise support throughout the evening for upcoming initiatives, including the newly-launched Kids’ Care Fund.

While revenue from program services forms a significant portion of Schreiber’s operating budget, it falls short of covering some associated costs, as each session, on average, costs $74 more than what is covered by parents’ insurance and government assistance. The Kids’ Care Fund is a sustainable revenue stream designed to support Schreiber’s services now and into the future.

“The Kids’ Care Fund bridges the financial gap so our therapists can continue to make profound impacts on children’s lives—helping them walk, speak, and learn essential life skills,” said James DeBord, President of Schreiber. “Your presence at the Gala is a powerful statement of support for our mission and a tangible contribution to the Kids’ Care Fund, a lifeline for the children we are dedicated to serving.”
