Bourbon + Bowties | You’re Invited to Schreiber’s 39th Annual Gala
Hosted at Brick Gables in Lititz, the gala will be held Saturday, March 11, and help fund a year of growth for Schreiber.
2023 marks a year of growth and renewal for Schreiber Center for Pediatric Development. Later this summer, they’ll open a new three-story expansion, which will include a brand-new space for a physical therapy gym and state-of-the-art treatment suites for occupational, speech, and behavioral health therapists through the renovation of existing space.
With nearly 500 children awaiting services, it’s critical for Schreiber to complete this facility upgrade to expand their capacity and continue changing the lives of even more kids who need them.
“We’re very excited to expand our facilities and serve more children and families in our region,” said James DeBord, President of Schreiber. “Simultaneously, we must also remain focused on the care we provide nearly 4,000 children each year, which is why events like our annual gala are so important.”
Dubbed Bourbon + Bowties, Schreiber’s 39th Annual Gala will be held on Saturday, March 11. Hosted at Brick Gables in Lititz, guests will enjoy a reception, three-course meal prepared by Country Home Catering, open bar, and a signature bourbon cocktail. They’ll also meet the 2023 Schreiber Ambassadors and dance the night away with Mama Tried.
In addition to being a fun evening, funds raised at the gala will help offset the nearly $2 million in uncompensated care Schreiber provides each year.
“We will always stand true to Edna Schreiber’s mission to turn no child away, regardless of their ability to pay,” James said.
