This rustic, one-room store carries products from all over the world, including over a hundred different spices, seasonings, herbs, exotic loose leaf teas, and naturally-flavored sugars. With Mother’s Day right around the corner, this is the perfect place to find a unique gift. Below, we’ve also included three homemade hummus recipes for you to try!

Along with seasonings and teas, there is a variety of kitchen accessories customers can browse through. Colorful teapots, floral mugs, and travel cups are on display. Hand-poured soy candles are placed sporadically throughout the room while salt cellars, spice containers, and various kitchen supplies line the walls.

Roasted Black Garlic Sea Salt, Jalapeño Pepper Powder, Zahtar Spice Blend, Beet Root Powder, and Garlic Powder are the secret ingredients to these homemade hummus recipes.

Here are the recipes for all 3 different hummus flavors. They are gluten and dairy free, as well as vegan-friendly!

  • For Jalapeno Cilantro Hummus:
    • 1 tsp Jalapeno Pepper Powder
    • ½ cup tahini
    • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil, plus extra for garnishing
    • 2 15-oz cans of chickpeas, drained and liquid reserved
    • Juice of one lemon
    • 1 tsp Cilantro, plus extra for garnish
  • For Savory Zahtar Hummus:
    • 3 tsp Zahtar Spice Blend, plus extra for garnish
    • ½ tsp Garlic Powder
    • ½ cup tahini
    • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil, plus extra for garnishing
    • 2 15-oz cans of chickpeas, drained and liquid reserved
    • Juice of one lemon
  • For Beet & Garlic Hummus:
    • 2 ½ tsp Beetroot Powder
    • 1 tsp Roasted Black Garlic Sea Salt
    • ½ cup tahini
    • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil, plus extra for garnishing
    • 2 15-oz cans of chickpeas, drained and liquid reserved
    • Juice of one lemon
    • 5-6 whole chickpeas, optional for garnish
