Celebrate plant-based living at Lancaster’s 10th Annual VegFest

VegFest returns to Lancaster for its tenth year, taking place over two days on June 6 and 7, 2026, at Buchanan Park. At this year’s festival, you’ll find over 100 vegan vendors, chef demos, special speakers, a beer garden, children activities, and so much more!

A Decade of VegFest

Lancaster VegFest began in 2017 at Musser Park with just 35 vendors and 3,000 attendees. By 2018, the event outgrew the space and moved to Buchanan Park, where the festival welcomed more than 80 vendors and 8,000 attendees.

Alongside the ten-year anniversary of VegFest will be Lancaster Vegan Restaurant Week. Making its return since a pause in 2021, Lancaster Vegan Restaurant Week is a week-long celebration that invites restaurants across the city to showcase bold, creative vegan dishes and connect with Lancaster’s growing plant-based audience.

Festival Highlights

Admission to the VegFest is free, with suggested donations benefiting Lancaster Farm Sanctuary. On both Saturday and Sunday, the festival will be open from 12-5PM and feature:

• Over 100 vendors from across the country offering plant-based food, artisan products, and eco-conscious goods
• Chef demos and speakers including Sarah Salluzzo and Jonina Turzi from Lancaster Farm Sanctuary, as well as Brenda Sanders from Afro-Vegan Society
• An organic farmers market by Lancaster Farm Fresh Cooperative, Presenting Sponsor
• Live music throughout the weekend
• A lively beer garden
• Free yoga and meditation sessions provided by West End Yoga Studio
• Children’s activities including bubbles, crafts, games, and a fairy garden
• Raffles, prizes, and exclusive VIP perks
• A special photo booth to commemorate the festival’s 10-year milestone
