Morgann Davis leads Allegro's NextGEN programming.

Q: How does your organization engage with the community to make an impact?

A: Allegro creates exciting events for all ages around the medium of classical music so whether you’re a novice or an aficionado, you can feel comfortable attending our concerts and enjoy it!

Q: Why is it important to make classical music accessible to a variety of generations?

A: Classical music provides an avenue to learn about history and culture, and an outlet for self-reflection.

Q: Why is it important to get kids interested in music at a young age?

A: Learning music gives young children a place to simultaneously learn discipline and self-expression. As students hone their abilities, they are rewarded with more facility to express their creativity and collaborate with their peers. When students find an interest in music at a young age they become part of a community that they can be a part of for life.

Making music joyful and accessible: Morgann Davis leads Allegro’s NextGEN programming. NextGEN is an extension of Allegro, offering string and wind ensembles for students in grades 4 – 12.
