Fuel Yourself at Clean Eatz

After a serendipitous trip with an old college friend in Knoxville, Tennessee, the Dyers suddenly found themselves with an itch for entrepreneurship and a potential outlet for their passion to help others live healthier lives.

Steve and Tamara Dyer both had long and successful careers in the corporate world. Despite really loving what they did, job opportunities had prompted several moves for their family, and they were growing tired of the instability for their two daughters. Their last move landed them in Lancaster—which they loved—but they couldn’t help feeling like something was still missing.

After a serendipitous trip with an old college friend in Knoxville, Tennessee, the Dyers suddenly found themselves with an itch for entrepreneurship and a potential outlet for their passion to help others live healthier lives.

It was on that fateful trip where they learned about Clean Eatz. At the time it was the fourth-fastest growing food franchise in the country, and Steve’s college friend had just so happened to recently open one of his own in Tennessee.

Neither Steve nor Tamara had a background in the restaurant industry, but they knew the time had come for a change—to share their passion for a healthy lifestyle with their community and to be able to do that together. They resonated deeply with the Clean Eatz tagline, “It’s a Lifestyle.”

“We wanted something different. We wanted to help people and be creative,” Steve said. “Was it a huge leap of faith? Absolutely! With nearly four years under our belt and countless customer success stories—ranging from extreme weight loss to elimination of medications to just having healthy, tasty meals on-hand—we enjoy what we are doing every single day.”

Officially opening their first location on Fruitville Pike in September 2018, Clean Eatz offers a variety of healthy lifestyle products and services to assist you, including a meal plan program; café menu; grab-n-go meals, cauliflower crust pizzas, and snacks; and catering. The cornerstone of their meal plan options is rooted in the fact that no sodium or sugars are added, and most meals are under 500 calories with a healthy balance of carbs, fats, and proteins. Their flexibility and customization options also give customers the ability to select low carb and extra protein for their meals based on their health goals.

With a new menu every week and no subscription requirements, customers can enjoy variety and convenience alongside tasty made-in-house food, regardless of what journey they are on. The Dyers know that no matter who you are and what you do, you can’t perform 100% in your day-to-day life without the right fuel, and whatever your lifestyle is, they want to fuel you with what your body needs.

Built upon the success of their Lancaster location, this husband-and-wife duo are not only operating their Fruitville Pike location—they also have eight satellite locations, a partnership for meal delivery with both Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health and Penn State Health in Hershey, and they are set to open their second café location in Harrisburg by the end of 2022.

“We are grateful for how the Lancaster and surrounding communities have embraced the Clean Eatz lifestyle and are proud to be a healthy resource for the community,” Steve added.

You can find the Dyers in Lancaster at 1876 Fruitville Pike. Stop in to say hello, learn about meal plans, choose from their 60+ frozen grab-n-go items, or order from their made-to-order café menu.
