As 2026 marks a historic year across the country, Fig partnered with Discover Lancaster to bring you a lineup of can’t-miss heritage events and community celebrations you’ll only experience here.

Riverfest

June 26–28, 2026 

Riverfest is an annual outdoor festival celebrating the Susquehanna River’s heritage, recreation, and river town culture in Columbia and Wrightsville, Pennsylvania. Held each summer, this multi-day event commemorates the historic burning of the Columbia- Wrightsville Bridge during the Civil War while inviting visitors to enjoy live music, heritage programs, scenic trolley tours, outdoor adventure, and family-friendly activities along the riverfront.

Celebrate America 250 at Historic Rock Ford

July 2 & 3, 2026

Celebrate America’s 250th birthday at this free two-day event featuring live music, living historians, self-guided tours of the 1794 General Hand Mansion, hands-on demonstrations, and family-friendly activities like a children’s scavenger hunt.

August 14, 2026

Join the City of Lancaster in the annual celebration of our vibrant local residents and cultures, featuring food galore, beer gardens, free music, and more on the 000 and 100 blocks of North Queen Street.
