Located right next door to Lancaster mainstay and sister store Filling's, this new space is a true shopping experience.
Filling’s has been an institution in Lancaster City’s retail community for nearly a century, and now, owners Ben and Lisa Karl are excited to expand their impact through the opening of Dressed by Filling’s right next door.
Founded in 1929, Filling’s has built its reputation as Lancaster’s destination for tailored menswear, refined style, and exceptional service.
Ben and Lisa took over the family-founded business in 2022, which has called College Row home since 2007. Their passion for the customer experience and the Lancaster community as a whole has been infused into every business decision—including their vision to give women an elevated destination for shopping that mirrors the men’s side of the brand.
“The Filling’s name has always stood for confidence, craftsmanship, and service,” Ben said. “With Dressed by Filling’s, we are giving women a space of their own—elegant, approachable, and thoughtfully designed—while ensuring it feels seamlessly connected to the Filling’s experience.”
Dressed by Filling’s opened just in time for the 2025 holiday shopping season and features a newly created passageway connecting the two stores. The boutique offers a curated collection of timeless essentials and polished everyday pieces with an emphasis on versatility, quality fabrics, and effortless styling.
“The concept is for women who want classic style with modern ease,” Lisa said. “Customers can expect a true concierge-style experience, with personalized styling recommendations from our team in a beautifully designed space. It’s the perfect spot for an outing with girlfriends or shopping alongside your significant other next door.”
