Ewell Talent is personalizing the hiring process

Rachel Ewell has more than a decade of experience in recruiting to change the way businesses hire.

Fresh Face

As founder and CEO of Ewell Talent, Rachel Ewell is using best practices in recruiting and knowledge she’s gleaned over the course of her 15-year career to help the Lancaster business community source top talent for the job opportunities they are looking to fill.

She founded Ewell Talent after seeing the need for a talent acquisition partner who is not only attuned to businesses’ needs, but also their aspirations. She believes it’s not just about hiring—it’s about advancing your talent strategy.

“There are a lot of businesses that struggle with attracting the right talent,” shared Rachel. “They get a high volume of resumes and applications, but it’s not necessarily the talent that aligns with their business goals or their culture.”

Rachel grew up in Switzerland before coming to the U.S. for college. After living in many different cities and states around the country, she has called Lancaster home for the past seven years and can’t imagine herself or her business anywhere else.

“There’s really nothing quite like Lancaster in my opinion,” Rachel said. “The city and the county has this vibrancy that is continuing to gain momentum. I want to be able to contribute and be part of that while helping businesses grow and achieve their goals.”

Her philosophy when establishing Ewell Talent was to ensure both the talent expert and the organization could be nimble in the process. That means not operating from a one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to talent acquisition, but instead developing a customized plan for each company and each job opening. Ewell Talent is all about tailoring to an organization’s unique needs, goals, and values, allowing them to build high-achieving teams.
