Fresh Face: THE CHARLEE

New salon brings added expertise to Lancaster City.

Fresh Face

THE CHARLEE offers a big city experience in a relaxed modern salon in Downtown Lancaster. The technicians are masters of their craft with specialized areas of expertise, and deliver consistent results and personalized service in a welcoming atmosphere.

“We want to offer individualized attention for each client,” says Nicole Calta, Founder and Creative Director. “We also want to encourage more than style—we educate every client on how to maintain their look at home.”

THE CHARLEE is located in a newly renovated space. With the help of various local business, Nicole’s vision became a reality and gave new life to the once condemned building. Nicole, who focuses on women’s and men’s cuts, graduated from the Carsten Institute of Cosmetology in New York City before beginning her career at Frederic Fekkai’s Fifth Avenue flagship salon. After eight years in Manhattan, she decided to bring her experience back to her hometown of Lancaster. Lauren Garrett, Color Director, joined THE CHARLEE team to add her expertise into the mix. Lauren graduated from Jean Madeline Aveda Institute in Philadelphia and worked at Studio CL in Rittenhouse Square for a decade before moving to Lancaster.

“We noticed a common problem in the industry—clients were rarely satisfied with the results of both color and cut services completed by one technician,” says Lauren. “The team at THE CHARLEE offers specialized services, so a client can come to me for color and Nicole for a cut.”

“Together we want to use our foundation of experience and passion to help clients achieve the results they love,” says Nicole. “We thoroughly consult with our clients to ensure the cut, color, and style they leave with works for their lifestyle.”

THE CHARLEE is excited to bring this concept to Lancaster and looking forward to expanding their team. Learn more about THE CHARLEE and make an appointment for the personalized salon experience you deserve at thecharleesalon.com.
