Good things are growing at Gallery Grow’s new space

Their expanded space includes a loft for up to 40 people at their signature terrarium bar.

Fresh Face

With a brand-new space on the 300 Block of North Queen Street, Lancaster City’s destination for plant people is growing something new.

In the five years since Gallery Grow’s opening, owner Kendra Pepe and her team have created a space for folks to get their hands dirty building terrariums—miniature glass gardens that are home to soil, stones, small plants, and embellishments of each gardener’s choice.

When you walk into the houseplant boutique, customers are invited into a lush retail space with shelves of plants, succulents, gardening tools, and home decor.

Gallery Grow’s signature terrarium bar is now tucked away in a gorgeous upper-level loft with space for up to 40 people to craft a living project. From bridal parties to corporate groups, Gallery Grow offers private and semi-private rentals for groups of all sizes.

“We really want to do more team building events and now have the space and capacity to,” Kendra shared. “We’re really excited to grow the events side of the space.”

You don’t need to have a green thumb or years of gardening experience to find something beautiful at Gallery Grow. Kendra has assembled a team of friendly planters who are ready to offer tips and tricks for starting a home garden of your own.

“There are plants that will tolerate no natural light, plants that will thrive in bright all-day light, and plants for people who over-tend,” Kendra said. “There is a plant for everybody. It’s just figuring out what your plant parenting style is and what your space allows you to have.”

Gallery Grow invites you to book a terrarium bar reservation in the dynamic new upstairs space, where you can elevate your experience by bringing a bottle of wine and a selection of local charcuterie while you plant. You can also stop in anytime to make a terrarium or shop the retail space and pick out the perfect plant to take home.
