Here’s Where to Celebrate National Chocolate Chip Day in Lancaster City
Celebrate Chocolate Chip Day in Lancaster City.
It’s almost here: the holiday you never knew you wanted so badly. National Chocolate Chip Day is on Tuesday, May 15!
We’ve all had chocolate chip cookies—we’ve all loved chocolate chip cookies. But how else can you celebrate? Thankfully there is no shortage of delicious spots in Lancaster City ready to help you celebrate all things chocolate chips!
Here are some places to add to your party list (get those appetites ready!).
Rolled Cold Creamery
This place is amazing. I tried it for the first time and can’t wait to go back. Celebrate with any of their great flavors, watch how this specialty ice cream is meticulously crafted, then make sure to top it off with chocolate chips! The above shots are of cookies and cream—my favorite. But there are countless flavor combos you can get so stop in and check it out.
Commonwealth on Queen
Muffins! I don’t care what time of day, I could always eat a chocolate chip muffin—especially the assortment at Commonwealth on Queen. Freshly-made and full of chocolate chips, grab one before work or on your break to celebrate the day.
Lancaster Central Market
With more than 60 local vendors, there is bound to be a variety of chocolate chip treats for you to find at Lancaster Central Market. Whether you want classic cookies at Sweet Legacy Gourmet, or want to try to bake your own with these convenient cookie-in-a-jar options at Amish Family Recipes, Market is your stop. We’re also loving the chocolate chip bread from Thom’s Bread for a unique twist on the candy ingredient.
Bistro Barberet
We’re in love with this Pain Au Chocolat treat from Bistro Barberet. It’s savory, sweet, and absolutely delicious. Make sure to add this to your chocolate chip celebratory route (yes, you must try all of these places!) and explore all of the rich, creative, handcrafted desserts.
Splits & Giggles Cafe
Refreshing milkshake on Chocolate Chip Day? Yes, please. Splits & Giggles can turn any of their assorted flavors into a creamy milkshake. We chose the Mint Chocolate Chip flavor and it was fantastic—minty, fresh, and packed with so many chocolate chips. What else could we ask for?
Lancaster Cupcake
Lancaster Cupcake always has a flavor celebrating any holiday—and for National Chocolate Chip Day, they have a great option: Brookie Dough. A delicious cupcake filled with cookie dough, topped with creamy icing and, of course, a smattering of chocolate chips. Sign us up!
Happy National Chocolate Chip Day! We can’t wait to celebrate—what will be your first stop?
