Inside Olivia’s Fine Art: A peek into Downtown Lancaster’s newest art studio
Meet local artist Olivia Stoltzfus and explore her vibrant studio ofpaintings, fine watercolors, and custom textile designs in the heart of Lancaster City.
Making her debut on Lancaster City’s infamous Gallery Row in early 2026, Olivia Stoltzfus is a rising force in the local art community. Her new space, Olivia’s Fine Art, is designed to be a working artist’s studio and gallery, where she welcomes people in to see her finished works on display while encouraging patrons to talk with her as she works on her latest pieces.
A textile artist and painter with a degree from the Rhode Island School of Design, Olivia’s breadth of work spans mediums and continents—from egg tempura works from her artist residency in Tuscany to acrylic paintings of her native Lancaster County to woven pieces crafted on her well-loved loom that sits in the middle of her gallery space. Olivia credits her family for nurturing an appreciation for beauty and a creative spirit during her formative years as an emerging artist.
“I was lucky to be encouraged and identified as an artist early in my life by the people who love me and the people I love,” she shared. “And as one of five siblings in a creative household, there was no shortage of inspiration and imagination…my mom curated such a beautiful home for us, and now that I’ve started my gallery, I appreciate the art of setting up a space in a new way,” she added.
As for returning to her roots to invest in her artistic career, Olivia truly believes there’s no place like home—especially when that home is Lancaster. “There is so much ar tistic opportunity here,” she said. “And there is nothing like building something in the place that has watched you grow into who you are.”
Visitors to Olivia’s will find a variety of subjects and styles throughout her collections, but the common thread is capturing a sense of harmony. “What carries throughout my work is the atmosphere, the emotion, the simplicity of beautiful things,” she explained. “I believe creating and collecting beautiful things is one w ay to experience a beautiful life, and I hope the galler y offers an opportunity for people to experience that.”
