LNC Oculoplastics is a new private practice specializing in plastic surgery around the eyes

Founded by Nora Siegal, whose passion for patient care is changing lives.

Nora Siegal, MD, PhD, was drawn to medicine from a very young age. Originally from New York, she recalls feeling a connection to the people around her as early as three years old, and she says her parents often tell her that was the age she would cry when other kids would start crying.

Dr. Siegal took that deep empathy as she first pursued a PhD in neuroscience while she also earned her MD before completing her residency in ophthalmology. During her training, she worked in a level one trauma center and that sparked a passion for specializing in oculoplastics.

“I found that trauma involving disfiguration was very emotionally charged, and helping others with reconstructive surgery was incredibly rewarding,” she shared.

As she began looking for jobs across the East Coast, Dr. Siegal ultimately decided she could make the most impact by starting her own private practice—LNC Oculoplastics—in Lancaster, where the specialty was much needed.

Oculoplastics is a combination of functional, reconstructive, and aesthetic cosmetic surgery around the eye. Dr. Siegal and her team of five will work with patients on everything from brow lifts to eyelid reconstruction after cancer.

As a private practice, LNC Oculoplastics offers patients a concierge experience, which allows the team to really get to know patients on a personal level and be an asset to the Lancaster community.

“I had no idea how happy I would be outside of New York City, and I feel very connected to this community,” Dr. Siegal said.
