Local Visionary – Henrietta Heisler

Our family legacy is giving back to the community.

Introducing you to the people and places that make Lancaster special is our mission. In the spring edition of Fig, you met some of our friends who are forging new paths and are selflessly committed to our community. Now, more than ever, we want to show our appreciation.

Meet Henrietta Heisler – Founder, Henrietta Heisler Interiors, Inc., Wacker on Walnut, LLC & Accelerator, LLC

……….

“There are a thousand reasons Lancaster is a special place to live. Our amazing historic City is surrounded by beautiful farmland and filled with people who take initiative to bring about positive change. Industrious, innovative, and progressive energy sets Lancaster apart from other communities. We have the best produce from local farms and enjoy close connections with our neighbors. Lancaster is centrally located between larger cities such as Philadelphia, NYC, and Washington D.C. with access to outdoor adventures (hiking, skiing, boating, beaches) within hours of center city. Lancaster is a top place to live or visit.”

"Giving back and being involved in the community is part of my family legacy. During my 33 years in Lancaster, I have been involved with many worthwhile organizations, but the greatest treasure of our City is the Lancaster Public Library."

I am proud to have worked with LPL for the last seven years. In my view, with most of its funding coming from donations, not government, the library does more for the community than any other single entity. It is used by every demographic, and is a true economic equalizer. My hope for the future is that when the Lancaster Public Library opens its doors at Ewell Plaza, we honor it with the financial support needed to continue its great work for everyone.

Passion Project:

Lancaster Public Library and the amazing opportunities it provides to the community. My new development project, The Accelerator Building at 252 N. Prince Street.

Reason for Gratitude:

I am grateful for my family, friends, workmates, and clients. I could not live without Sammy D. Jr, my amazing cat, or books and movies. I love to read and be entertained.
