Featured Lancaster Orthopedic Group Sports Medicine Surgeons: Michael A. Campbell, Joy L. Long, Mark K. Perezous, and Corey R. Troxell
Research continues to show that staying active, curious, and connected empowers people to live longer, happier, and more fulfilled lives. That’s why the team at Lancaster Orthopedic Group (LOG) is passionate about providing you the opportunity to keep doing what you love.
Every day the team at LOG finds joy not only in the science of what they do, but in how their work directly impacts the lives of their patients.
Whether your passion is art, dance, exercise, work, family, or community, their mission is to keep you doing what you love for as long as you can.
Sponsored by LOG, these seven local entrepreneur embody their mantra: Do What Moves You.

Gwendolyn “Lola” Omolabi
Owner of Hypnotic Pole Fitness
WHAT IS YOUR PASSION?
Empowering women to step into confidence, health, and authenticity through movement. I also love staying curious and creative—recently that’s looked like learning horseback riding and DJing purely for the joy of growth and self-expression.
HOW DO YOU INVEST IN YOUR OWN WELLNESS?
Consistent movement—weightlifting, pole dance, and yoga—are non-negotiables for me. As a neurodivergent woman, prioritizing my mental health through therapy and psychiatric support is equally essential.

Ken Fox
Co-owner of Fox Den Indoor Golf
WHAT IS YOUR PASSION?
Helping people stay active and do the things they love without pain—especially golfers who want to keep enjoying the game as they get older.
HOW DO YOU INVEST IN YOUR OWN WELLNESS?
As a physical therapist of 30 years, I practice what I encourage my patients and clients to do: stay consistent with mobility work, strength training, and keeping my body moving every day.
WHAT FULFILLS YOU AS AN ENTREPRENEUR?
Being a business owner here means building long-term relationships and seeing firsthand how supporting people’s health helps strengthen the entire community—and doing it alongside my son is even more rewarding.

John Gerdy
Founder of Music For Everyone
WHAT IS YOUR PASSION?
Working to increase the capacity of music and the arts as an educational, public health, and community building tool in Lancaster County.
HOW DO YOU INVEST IN YOUR OWN WELLNESS?
By staying physically active through walking, yoga, swimming, and weight training—and by playing music, painting, writing, reading, and staying socially engaged.
WHAT FULFILLS YOU AS AN ENTREPRENEUR?
If you approach someone with an idea or initiative that will benefit our community, their first response is, “What can I do to help?” It’s that community-minded attitude that makes Lancaster such a special place.

Megan Fessler-McCarthy
Founder & Owner of Tread House
WHAT IS YOUR PASSION?
My passion lives at the intersection of movement and human connection. Whether I’m coaching, running a small business, or leading a community workout, I care most about creating spaces where people feel strong, confident, and deeply supported.
WHAT FULFILLS YOU AS AN ENTREPRENEUR?
As a Lancaster native, owning a business here is deeply personal. As a woman and mother, it’s even more meaningful. I get to pour into the community that shaped me while building a business rooted in the values I want my children to see—honoring the human experience, leading with integrity, holding ourselves accountable, and creating an inclusive space where everyone belongs.

John McGrann
Owner of Penn Stone
WHAT IS YOUR PASSION?
Curating a collection of products and materials that enhance Lancaster County homeowners’ outdoor living spaces. Outside of that, I love to ski and cheer for the Phillies!
HOW DO YOU INVEST IN YOUR OWN WELLNESS?
Finding time every day to do something, like a neighborhood walk, a meditation session, or working in our city backyard. I also invest time in my flexibility and strength-building routine created by the team at LOG after an ACL surgery in 2024.

Michael & Abigail Sturdivant
Co-owner of People & Things
WHAT IS YOUR PASSION?
We’re really passionate about art, music, and fashion. The store gives us the opportunity to blend our passions and create a safe space for people with similar interests.
HOW DO YOU INVEST IN YOUR OWN WELLNESS?
For us, investing in our wellness looks like taking the opportunity to rest and enjoy our downtime. We’re constantly moving as we build the business, but we try to slow down when we can to connect with each other and connect with the world around us.
WHAT FULFILLS YOU AS AN ENTREPRENEUR?
Lancaster is such a dope city with a rich music and art scene. We love the idea of being a place for people of all types to connect. Community is everything to us, so we love the concept of being a hub for ideas and creativity.
