Things to Do
Long’s Park Summer Music Series returns June 4 for its 61st season

"Summer doesn’t start until the music begins."
That’s the magic Tom Ellis, President of Long’s Park Amphitheater Foundation Board of Directors, believes the Summer Music Series brings to the community.
Since 1962, Long’s Park Amphitheater has been graced with talent from around the world during the Summer Music Series. Curated by the Foundation, the lineup of musicians is just as remarkable as the setting they play in.
“The most important thing is a diversity of genres, along with geographical, cultural, and social diversity,” Tom explains. “Then we pursue artists that will, in our opinion, meet our mission—which is to curate a cultural music experience for Lancaster.”
