M Rose is where nails meet art
Owner Mariam Rosado has nearly two decades of experience she is bringing to her new salon location in Lancaster City.
You may not find anyone more passionate about nail design than Mariam Rosado, owner of M Rose nail salon. In January 2024, she relocated to Chestnut Street, bringing with her nearly two decades worth of practicing and perfecting the art and science behind nail design. “My enthusiasm for nails extends beyond a profession— it’s a genuine expression of art and connection,” Mariam shared. “Crafting miniature canvases and creating works of art is deeply gratifying.”
Mariam’s initial introduction to nail design came as she grew frustrated with getting nails services that didn’t meet her expectations. That’s when Mariam bought supplies and learned to do her nails at home.
“When I started this journey, my goal was to completely understand how nail products work in order to minimize lifting and breakage so I could express my artistic talents through nail design,” she shared.
In the 15+ years since, Mariam became a nail technician and salon owner, as well as connected with like-minded educators who share her devotion to perfecting this craft. Mariam has the distinction of being one of very few licensed Nail Tech Educators in the state of Pennsylvania, and that has allowed her to offer continued education to up-and-coming nail techs through one-on-one classes and workshops.
A large part of why Mariam has gained such a committed client base are her long-lasting guarantees. “Our nails are beautiful and also durable. That’s really what sets us apart,” she said.
M Rose takes pride in every detail of their process, from prepping the nail to the detailed art they customize while getting to know each client. “It’s a privilege to connect with incredible individuals from diverse backgrounds within my community,” Mariam shared. “We share many moments of laughter, encouragement, and inspiration.”
Always striving to provide her clients with exceptional service, Mariam is opening M Rose Beauty Bar, a full-service beauty salon next door. Clients will experience the ultimate in nail and beauty services, all conveniently located together instead of visiting multiple places for hair, nails, waxing, and other beauty needs.
Mariam is excited to reconnect with her past clients and welcome new ones to her new location.
