Did you know that adults and children can take classes and workshops at the Pennsylvania College of Art & Design year-round? PCA&D’s Center for Creative Exploration (CCE) offers classes, workshops, events, and more for all ages and levels of ability. You can choose your creative adventure!

Adult Professional Classes

Creatives and other professionals who need to upskill in areas of creative industry or software can tap into targeted workshops and short-form classes as well as professional certificates that cover areas of study such as social media marketing and programs like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. You’ll find both online and in-person options to meet your needs and fit into your busy schedule!

Adult Enrichment Classes

Are you looking for a creative outlet or a place to try something new? Adult enrichment opportunities range from exploring fine art media, to creative writing, performance, and more!

Pre-College Classes

Pre-College credit and non-credit classes for high school students are the perfect opportunity to test out a medium or topic as students plan ahead for their college and career goals!

Young Artists Classes

Creativity is for everyone, especially young artists in grades 1-9! Classes, workshops, and camps for grades 1-9 cover topics like painting, drawing, design, and so much more! Scholarships are available for young artists in grades 1-12.

If you’re looking for ways to have more meaningful experiences with your children or friends, CCE also offers intergenerational and parent + child classes that give family, friends, and neighbors unique opportunities to create together.

Extending beyond CCE’s walls, partnered programs like the summer Ultimate Art Camp with the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen expand the possibilities and studio experience. Drop-in events like Art Recess for Adults and Art at Brunch give adults and children the chance to have fun and explore their creativity off campus in other creative spaces like Zoetropolis Cinema Stillhouse. These are just a few of the unique opportunities you can find throughout the year.
