Rob Bell’s newest theatrical work debuts in Lancaster

Prima Theatre is the east coast premiere of "We’ll Get Back to You."

From sharing the stage with Oprah Winfrey and international speaking tours to collaborating with Elizabeth Gilbert (Eat, Pray, Love) and hosting one of Apple’s top podcasts, Rob Bell has shaped cultural conversations worldwide.

Named one of Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the World, Bell’s storytelling now arrives in Lancaster with the East Coast premiere of We’ll Get Back to You—a sharp, comedic exploration of workplace culture, authenticity, and human connection.

Produced by Prima Theatre, this highly anticipated new work runs April 25–May 10, 2025 and is the result of a creative partnership between Bell and Prima’s Founding Executive Producer, Mitch Nugent.

“Rob’s work consistently speaks of finding subversive and joyful ways to be fully human,” Mitch said. “This play is no exception. It’s hilarious, thought-provoking, and full of the unexpected.”

A Job Interview That’s Anything But Typical

In We’ll Get Back to You, Viva’s job interview is anything but ordinary. With unwavering honesty and humor, she turns the hiring process on its head, exposing the quirks, contradictions, and absurdities of office life. The result is a hilarious and surprisingly insightful journey into workplace dynamics.

The play stars Veanna Black, a nationally celebrated BIPOC performer whose work includes Apple TV’s The Beanie Bubble, FOX’s The Resident, and Nat Geo’s Genius: MLK/X.

A Unique Set Collaboration Between Theatre and Architecture

Set rendering

The entire set for We’ll Get Back to You is being built by Lancaster’s Tono Group, a firm known for its commercial and residential designs. It’s rare for an architecture firm to design a theatrical set, but for a play set in an office environment, this collaboration adds an unparalleled level of realism.

Designed by California-based scenic designer Matthew Herman, the set mirrors the sleek, controlled, and impersonal nature of corporate spaces, creating an immersive and subtly surreal atmosphere reminiscent of Severance(Apple TV).

A Meaningful Team-Building Experience for Businesses

Beyond an entertaining night out, We’ll Get Back to You offers a fresh approach to corporate team-building. Companies can bring their teams for an evening of laughter, insight, and shared conversation, sparking meaningful discussions about workplace culture in a way no seminar or keynote ever could.

Prima Theatre offers exclusive group ticket packages, with options for reserved seating, branding visibility, and post-show networking experiences.
