Support Schreiber Kids at the 37th Annual Rubber Duckie Race & Festival

Join the fun at Schreiber Center for Pediatric Development’s annual Rubber Duckie Race & Festival, returning for its 37th year on Sunday, September 7, 2025, from 2-5PM at the Schreiber campus in Lancaster. The event features two inclusive fun runs, the one-mile Duckie Dash, and the 100-meter Duckling Dash for kids, alongside a family-friendly festival filled with carnival games, pony rides, food trucks, crafts, and a special sensory-friendly space.

Schreiber’s Mission

Schreiber Center for Pediatric Development, founded in 1936, is a nonprofit organization that offers therapy, education, and recreational resources for children, teens, and young adults with disabilities, developmental delays, and acquired injuries. Schreiber equips families and children with the resources they need to navigate life’s challenges and achieve their vision for the future.

The Rubber Duckie Race & Festival is Schreiber’s largest fundraiser, helping cover the cost of therapy for kids served. Every duck adoption and race registration contributes to physical, occupational, and speech therapy programs that serve thousands of children across Lancaster and beyond.

How to Participate

There are several ways to get involved:

• Adopt a Duckie: Community members can adopt one or more duckies online. Each adoption supports therapy services and enters the adopter into the prize drawing.
• Become a Duckie Seller: Supporters can sign up to sell duckies and raise funds by encouraging friends, family, or coworkers to join the cause.
• Register for the Race: The Duckie Dash (1 mile) and Duckling Dash (100 meters for kids 12 and under) are open to participants of all ages and abilities.
• Enjoy the Festival: The festival offers unlimited games (with wristband purchase), crafts, food vendors, pony rides, and a sensory-friendly area. Individual game tickets will also be available onsite.

3:30PM: Duckling Dash (100-Meter Fun Run for Kids)

4PM: Duckie Dash (One-Mile Race for All Ages)

5PM: Event Concludes
