Unwrap something special at Lancaster Gift Box

Their expanded location just across the street on the 300 Block is home to even more local gifting options.

Fresh Face

Lancaster Gift Box has called the 300 Block of North Queen Street home since 2022, and now their team is settling into a new, thoughtfully designed space just across the street.

Dedicated to celebrating Pennsylvania makers, Lancaster Gift Box fills its shelves to the brim with small batch products from local purveyors like Groff’s Candies, Epic Pickles, Lancaster County Coffee Roasters, and Emma’s Popcorn, among many others.

“When we opened our first retail shop, I had the idea that people would want to come and make their own gift boxes, but I wasn’t sure if people would enjoy it as much as I thought they would,” shared Diana Smedley, owner and lead “gift box lady.”

To Diana’s surprise, customers loved the experience of picking items off the shelves and curating a beautiful box of goodies to give to friends and family.

At the new location, Diana, her husband Gabriel Luber, and Team Gift Box are welcoming customers into the Generosity Lounge—a serene, inspiring space designed for thoughtful shopping. Explore creative gift box ideas, browse at your own pace, and watch your box be assembled with care.

“I want people, from the moment they walk in, to take a deep breath, and say, ‘Oh, this is an experience,’” Diana said. “Every day, we get to help our corporate and individual clients be generous. How cool is that?”

With a new shop comes a new online presence as well— one with a build-a-box function so customers from anywhere in the nation can customize gift boxes for loved ones or ship their favorite individual products right to their doors.

“It has been a full circle moment,” Diana shared. “It feels like we’ve gained so much traction, and yet we’re so ambitious, and we want to create so much more.”
