Ways To Wellness, with Wayne Mutata from iTrain

iTrain Studio has been motivating and empowering the Lancaster community for half a decade.

iTrain Studio is coming up on their 5 Year Anniversary this April. Appropriately known as the Lion’s Den, this group fitness and personal training studio has been motivating and empowering the Lancaster community for half a decade. We met with Head Lion, Wanye Mutata, to catch up and learn all about what’s going on at iTrain and pick up a few tips on staying healthy as we move into spring.

Growing up in Zimbabwe, Wayne was enamored with fitness and always aspired to be a trainer. He came to the United States as an exchange student to study personal training and group fitness. After working with athletes, children, seniors, and other demographics, Mutata has learned a lot over the years when it comes to motivating people to be their best.

Here are the top 5 ways to get healthy this season:

Nutrition

Healthy living starts with healthy eating. Proper nutrition will give you more energy and brain power to support you in your fitness journey and in your everyday tasks. Support and nourish your body and crush those health and fitness goals.

Make Time

Time is precious and, unfortunately, it can’t be multiplied. So you have to make the time for your workouts. Schedule when you exercise so that it becomes part of your daily routine. This can be as simple as taking a walk in the morning before heading into the office.

Prioritize

Living a healthy lifestyle has to be a priority if you want to see positive change in how you feel. Prioritizing your health has so many mental and emotional benefits that go along with the physical advantages.

Convenience

There are so many ways to exercise. Don’t be fooled by social media fitness gurus who are in the gym 24/7. Think about how you can make exercising suitable for you. Walking and jogging are two perfect examples of a convenient and inexpensive way to get moving.

Consistency

This is key when it comes to staying on track. Your workouts don’t always need to be super challenging, but they need to happen! If you aren’t consistent with working out and eating healthy you won’t form those good, healthy habits.

Wayne opened iTrain Studio with the idea that exercise can be fun and comfortable no matter your age, height, weight, or lifestyle. Now, he has big plans for how wellness can impact Lancaster in a huge way. We’re excited to welcome them to 101NQ as a corporate wellness entity in the coming months, more on that soon!
