Art and Books: Wild Robot: Grades 1-3 at PCA&D

The Wild Robot is a beloved children’s book (and now film!) which follows a curious robot called Roz, who finds herself stranded in the wild on an island. Roz must learn to survive and earn the trust of the island’s animals. This is a beautiful tale of acceptance, friendship and what it means to care about others. In this workshop for grades 1-3, we will look at the pen and ink illustrations in the original book and explore themes from the book through various media! Come join us! This is a studio based class with lots of guidance to start followed by one-on-one instruction. Expect to have lots of creative freedom within the bounds of the assignment!
