Born in Izhevsk, Russia, Asiya Korepanova began learning piano at the age of 4, starting composing at 6 and made her orchestral debut at age 9.
Korepanova is a pianistic powerhouse hailed as “tremendously gifted” who is recognized as a composer, visual artist and poet. With a repertoire encompassing over 60 piano concertos and solo works ranging from the early Baroque period to living composers, she finds unique joy in performing complete collections of works such as Liszt’s 24 Etudes or Bach’s entire “Well-Tempered Clavier.”
