Celebrate Friends! Exploring the Art of Keith Haring: Grades 4-6 at PCA&D

February 14 @ 10:00 am 12:00 pm

In this workshop, students in grades 4-6 will explore the work of Keith Haring and his work surrounding themes of friendship and love with instructor Megan Grozier! Students will create their own Haring style figures to communicate a theme and have an opportunity to engage in drawing and painting techniques throughout this project! Students will walk away with a set of sketches and figure drawing practices as well as their final designed project. This is a studio based class with a bit of guidance to start followed by one-on-one instruction. Expect to have some creative freedom within the bounds of the assignment!
