Creative Playground! Grades 1-3 at PCA&D

In this class, students in grades 1-3 will have the opportunity to create art based on their own media and process. Students will have the opportunity to choose a path: students may work through a prompt like solving a design problem OR focused on a theme like mood or self-portraiture to create a project to engage and explore their creative process. Allowing young students to explore media in their own way and have more freedom in their problem solving is an important influence on their growing creativity! This is a studio based class with lots of guidance to start followed by one-on-one instruction. Expect to have lots creative freedom within the bounds of the assignment!
