There’s no songwriter quite like John Prine. With a goofy grin and a heart of gold, this mailman turned Grammy-winning artist found his way effortlessly into our hearts with his incredible storytelling and infectious tunes. A songwriter of songwriters, he’s inspired a generation of troubadors to hone their craft and tell the stories we all need to hear. Although he passed away a few years ago, his legacy lives on through an incredible catalog of music he left behind and the countless lives he touched along the way. We couldn’t be more honored to have the Lancaster community come together to spend an evening celebrating his music! This evening will be a beautifully mischievous collaboration of Lancaster musicians bringing their voices to his music, supported by Conrad Fisher and his band. If you’re a John Prine fan, you know that this isn’t one to miss. And if you’re just discovering his music- this is the perfect way to dive in. It’s going to be an incredible evening beneath the stained glass here at West Art, and we hope you’ll plan to join us!
