Gifts That Give Hope Lancaster

The entire community is invited to the 17th Annual Gifts That Give Hope (GTGH) Lancaster Gift Fair is at the Farm and Home Center, located at 1383 Arcadia Road in Lancaster, PA. GTGH is a group of volunteers who work together to provide a unique holiday shopping experience that encourages charitable giving.
At the gift fair, shoppers will be able to engage with each of this year’s 37 nonprofit organizations to choose who they would like to support with gifts for loved ones on their holiday gift list! Guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy food and beverages from local eateries while perusing fair trade goods, social enterprises, business for good, and environmentally friendly and ethically sourced gifts in the marketplace. Marketplace vendors include Friendship Heart Gallery, My Peruvian Treasures, Hope Inspire Love, Binding Love Scarves, Artisan Trading Company, Food is Love Lancaster, Chainyana, Revolution Jewelry, Trade Faire, Crafted & Chosen Jewelry | Kind Human Foundation, Chestnut Ridge Honey & Beeswax Products, Hope Served, Read Rose Books, MollyauContraire, Bead for Life, and Hope Noted.
This year’s nonprofit participants include: Aaron’s Acres, Ahadi Zetu Foundation, Anchor Lancaster, Arch Street Center, Barnabas Aid, Benchmark, Blessings of Hope, CASA of Lancaster & Lebanon Counties, Clare House, COBYS Family Services, Conestoga Valley SEEDS, Connection Ubuntu, Domestic Violence Services of Lancaster County, Hempfield Foundation, Highland Child & Community Care, Hope Inspire Love, HOPE International, Kairos Ministries Guatemala, KPETS – Keystone Pet Enhanced Therapy Services, Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic, Lancaster County Feed My Starving Children, Lancaster Lebanon Habitat for Humanity, Least of These Ministries, Live Like Libby, Lone Oak Animal Assisted Therapeutic & Educational Services, Making Miracles Happen Inc, The Period Project Harrisburg, Music for Everyone, PA Vent Camp, Phoenix Assistance Dogs, Poiema Visual Arts, Sawa Africa, Sierra Club Pennsylvania-Lancaster Group, SWAN: Scaling Walls a Note at a Time, The Edible Classroom, The Potter’s House, Water Street Mission, Wildheart, Wittel Farm, World Bicycle Relief, and Writeface.
In addition to shopping opportunities, there will be a Human Rights (HR) Day Scavenger hunt taking for participants of all ages. By taking part in the scavenger hunt, guests can learn about nonprofits in the Lancaster area that are working to address various articles of the Declaration as well as Sustainable Development Goals. HR Day was first recognized on December 10, 1948. The GTGH fair conducts the scavenger hunt tradition to engage and inform attendees and to help them understand how everyone has a role to play in making the world a more just, equitable, fair, and peaceful place. Those who complete the scavenger hunt will receive a FREE book!
Food will also be available for purchase throughout the day, via food trucks and stands, from some of Lancaster’s favorite establishments. This includes Lancaster Stroopies, Walk-O-Taco, pHresKoo Haitian Lemonade, Isabelle Cuisine: West African & Fusion Fare, Gourmet Julie’s Way, DutchCounty Concessions, Cafe 301, Traveling J’s, KelSas Sweet Box, Redemptive Sweets, Homage: Cuisines of the West African Diaspora, and Character Coffee Cart.

GTGH Lancaster is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote charitable, alternative giving through an annual gift fair that offers the opportunity to purchase holiday gifts in support of charitable causes and meaningful gift giving.
