Learning to See – Still Life Exploration: Grades 1-3 at PCA&D

In this one day workshop for students in grades 1-3, we will learn about how artists look at objects to create masterpieces! We will look at several famous artists like Paul Cezanne and create our own interpretation of the still life genre. Students will use a variety of art mediums like painting, drawing, and pastels to create their finished artworks. This is a studio based class with a bit of guidance to start followed by one-on-one instruction. Expect to have some creative freedom within the bounds of the assignment!
