Celebrating their 50th anniversary in 2024, and renowned as one of the world’s finest quartets, the American String Quartet has spent decades honing the luxurious sound for which it is famous. Their performances have graced all fifty states and the most prestigious concert halls worldwide.
Sharing the stage with the American String Quartet is Alexander Kobrin, a Van Cliburn Competition Gold Medalist known for his masterful performances. In this special concert, Kobrin collaborates with the Quartet to perform Brahms’s Piano Quintet in F Minor, Op. 34, a piece that showcases the depth and breadth of their collective musicianship.
