FRWRD Dance Company is buzzing back to the stage this spring with its third annual iteration of LOVEBUG, bringing along a swarm of fresh bugs, delightful poetry, and a fabulous cast of new faces and familiar favorites. A riveting blend of dance and theatre showcasing a vivid array of costumes and props, LOVEBUG transports viewers into the weird and wondrous world of insects. Join the expedition as FRWRD’s masterful performers spin, weave, creep, fly, and hatch a captivating cast of creatures to life, from the web of the bella tarantella to the bustling beehive to the fields of singing cicadas (new to the show this year!). The show’s runtime is just over 60 minutes and it is appropriate for children and adults alike. Event Details – Catch the full spectacle at Mickey’s Black Box on Saturday, May 17th. The performance begins at 2pm, but all are invited to come early for pre-show fun including live insect samples, AKA bug ambassadors, from the Lancaster Conservancy. Doors will open at 1pm.
