Monster Parade – Digital Illustration Inspired by Collage: Grades 9-12 at PCA&D

Using Photoshop we will create new, never before seen creatures out of a variety of photos and simple painting techniques. Use your imagination and curiosity to combine various existing creatures and things into an endless parade of new and unique Monsters. Students will learn to use simple tools in Photoshop to simplify and process various types of images into unified collage base pieces. We will make selections, transform pieces, and merge them together into one unified layer before adding a little bit of highlight and even color. Photocredit: Sheri Hansen
