Pre-Prohibition Study Hall
October 15 @ 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm

Before Prohibition, there was the cocktail.
Step back into the earliest days of American cocktail culture at The Conway Room for an evening exploring the drinks, techniques, and traditions that shaped the American bar. This Study Hall will take you behind the recipes and rituals of pre-Prohibition drinking culture, with a curated selection of historic cocktails, classic techniques, and stories from the early days of American bartending. You’ll have the chance to taste your way through cocktail history, learn how these early drinks were crafted, and get hands-on by building a cocktail of your own. The evening will also feature a selection of refined, tavern-inspired canapés, including smoked trout deviled eggs and tea sandwiches with smoked salmon, cucumber, lemon and dill, alongside other classic bites to enjoy throughout the experience. A little mystery and an interactive element will round out the evening, creating a social experience inspired by the atmosphere of old-school drinking establishments.
