LancasterHistory will welcome award-winning author Clint Smith to the Ware Center for Revolution to Reconstruction: Pennsylvania and the Fight for Liberty & Equality. Smith, author of How the Word Is Passed and Above Ground, will explore Pennsylvania’s central role in shaping our nation’s evolving ideals of liberty and equality. The event will include a lecture followed by Q&A.  Pocket Books will also be on site selling signed copies of How the word is passed. The lecture is FREE, but advance registration is required and space is limited.
