Why this title? Every collage, assemblage, sculpture and painting begins with an impulse, a notion. A piece of paper, and object separated from its original function or a background worthy of art is a beginning, a gateway. I work with no mind or goal. I put myself on the shelf. It seems that I assist the art as it evolves. Its story and title are revealed in the process. I call my work Singular Visions. Every work is unique. If I painted a covered bridge, I would end with a covered bridge, no surprise. My finished works are always a surprise.
